Being Asked to Log In Repeatedly to Outlook or Law App

Contents

This is usually due to Microsoft’s token expiry rules under their Graph API model.

    Here’s how it works:

Law App stores Graph tokens for 90 days.

If unused for 14 days, Microsoft will expire the token and require a new login.

Opening Law App or Outlook in a new browser may log you out of another active session.

Law App retains token credentials for 30 days, but Microsoft may still prompt for login based on inactivity or device changes.

Tip: Use a single browser, avoid long periods of inactivity, and re-authenticate when prompted. These security rules are controlled by Microsoft and are industry standard.
