Learn how to quickly update simple text in a Legal template in Law App
Templates cannot be edited from within the file, you must navigate to the document template area to do this.
1. Click “Documents”
2. Click “Templates”
3. Click the “Search on keywords” field.
4. Click the EDIT icon
5. Double-click “Create new version”
You can fill in a version reason if needed (optional)
6. This will then open word – Edit your document as you would a normal document, taking care not to accidentally change any merge fields, unless you want to remove those fields completely.
Simply press the X to exit the word document –
Say yes to Save
you will be back to Law App and your changes will be saved.
