Why do some emails appear in the Trash folder immediately after sending or saving?

When you generate an email from a template in Law App (e.g. by previewing or drafting), it is intentionally saved to the Drafts folder. This is by design to prevent confusion between actual sent/received emails and those simply generated for review.

  • The draft version is saved to the matter as a document for reference.
  • Only the final, sent version of the email is saved in the system as an official communication.

This helps ensure the document history reflects only real client correspondence, while still keeping a record of drafts when needed.
