How do trust transfers between matters work

Transfers within trust (e.g., from one file to another) are done using Trust Journal Entries:

Go to the source file’s Trust tab.

Select Trust Journal.

Choose the transfer type, enter destination file and amount.

Provide reason or note.

Save the journal entry.

Note: Trust journal entries create a visible audit trail and reflect movement of money within the same bank account. They do not affect your trust bank ledger.
