When should I use a Supplier Invoice instead of a Payment

Use a Supplier Invoice if:

You have an invoice in hand but haven’t paid it.

You want to record the cost immediately.

You want to ensure it gets billed even before payment.

Example: Barrister invoice dated today but not due for 14 days.
